"You're Inbox is Full"

A number of people are getting messages these days which says that their personal message inbox is full. Then they go here and look and it appears that their inbox is not full, or even empty. Then they usually send me an email saying, "Hey, what's the deal?".

Well the deal is that the message board will usually save a copy of your outgoing messages in your "Sent Items" box. Your total personal messages is the total of both boxes.

Solution: Clear out your sent items box too.

Where is Sent Items? I went to user cp, private messages, pm tracking, and I cleared those, and I still show that I have 40 messages in my folders, although I can only find one.

Go to Private Message >Jump To Sent Folder (in the drop down menu)
