Hi there. It's me, Cory Palmer, and I'd like to offer you my services as a coach for your improv team!
I currently perform with the UCB Harold team Creature and indie goofballs Fun Fun Fun. I've studied under a bank-breaking number of teachers/coaches, including Will Hines, Curtis Gwinn, Gavin Speiller, Ian Roberts, Kevin Hines, Josh Patten, and many more. I've also performed The Movie under the watchful eye of Dyna Moe, and studied organic improv extensively with Shannon O'Neill.
Here's what I'm bringing to the table, friend. I want to see that sense of group fun and camaraderie that drew you toward each other. We're gonna trust each other completely. We're gonna be bold, even if it scares us a little bit. We're gonna dive head-first into every move and never sell anything out. We're gonna treat the show itself like a member of the team, and support it and give it what it needs at any given moment. We're gonna treat the characters we play with respect and honesty. We're gonna support the shit out of that weird move someone just did, because it's brilliant.
What I'm saying is I think you're great, and I'd love to help explore that greatness. I hope you'll consider me.
