WIll i find out ABOUT HAROLD AUDITIONS?

#1
I have taken 4 classes at UCB since february, and would love to audition for a new team (provided they are doing that or whatever), but i hear it is "INVITE ONLY" and I am not really "in" with people at UCB, meaning that I dont hang out with people from there...but i think i am a good improviser and would just love the chance to try out...anyone know if i will get that chance? or any suggestions on how to get invited?

Thanks alot!
(ya know once, in 2nd grade, i spelt "alot" like that, but because it is supposed to be 2 words, miss juranich made me write it 200 times) then i won the 5th grade spelling bee.

My experience with the open auditions is that when they happen, UCBT sends out an e-mail to pretty much all the eligible students. So unless your e-mail is outdated, you'll hear when they are.

That being said, the system seems to be changing. So who knows.

If you want to know how to get invited to audition, I dont know. It's a very subjective thing. But on the vaguest level (and probably the least helpful one), you just have to make sure the people who make those decisions are familiar with your work.

Good luck.

Open auditions are emailed and posted on this site.

Also, take a 4P. Not that it's an automatic in; it's just another way to at least get your face out there.

Don't assume it'll be an invite only audition. Information can't really be trusted at this point and time, since everyone seems to know one truthful thing and 10 rumors.

Take a wait and see approach.

I'll be holding Harold team auditions next week. All players must be willing to travel to the North Bronx to play at a Nights of Columbus on Sundays during half time, extended comercial breaks and over 21 point blow outs.

Players accepted onto the team may refer to themselves there after as Children of the one True Rory and drink discount beer and shelf drinks.

Thanks,

Rory

Well, Tim, you know that School Night show you (we) are doing on November 8?

Your entire future at UCB is riding on that (your) performance!

Use your opportunity wisely!

(Any spelling or grammer errors in this posting are not Tim's fault.)

I'm not sure what the plan is, but for any question like this, the first step is to send us an email and ask. You are much more likely to get an answer than by posting something on the IRC:

info[@]ucbt[.]net
classes[@]ucbt[.]net
alex[@]ucbt[.]net
