Work has been way to busy. Ask Mantzoukas.

Gwyn, you will be interested to know that we are quoted together in the new improv book talking about women and improv.

Pictures

You know, it's starting to become a pet peeve of mine that there are no "action" shots of me anywhere in the Improv world.
Not in "Truth in Comedy", not on either IO websites, not even in any green rooms where people will put up party pictures and stuff....
I'm there ALL THE TIME, 10 YEARS, but there is no photographic record of me EVER being on any stage.

There are TEAM pictures, yes.
It looks like I was on a bunch of teams that never played.....

That's true of my HS yearbooks too. Hmmm....

Actually my picture is up as a part of the team named "Waco's Child" and I'm not sure I want it up there. It proves that I once shared a stage with David Seidman. THose who know David know what I'm talking about.

Awww, I'm just kidding, David! (if you're reading this.);)

I have photographic records of you being in attendance at improv shows, and parties... does that help?

At least you're in the Blonde team pictures. In my day we literally never got the entire team together in front of a camera. I have plenty of pictures of various permutations of all-but-one-of-us.

I wish I had a picture from the last show, where you and Neil McNamara played and you and I did a scene.

Was that the last show?????

Did I know that?

Well, that's irony for you.

No, I know there are photos SOMEWHERE of me at IO, like from MY camera, or my friends. But I mean, on record. In a book, at a website, UP somewhere, something official-like.

Like, if you were to look back at all my HS yearbooks, you would think I never did one play there, when in reality I was in every show. But they always took pictures on under-study night or, we used to double cast stuff all the time, and they would come on the OTHER person's night....
That's seems to be the case for me with Improv as well.

But at least I'm quoted in a book now. With Mullaney. Kev, what did I say? Is it dumb? It was so long ago, I wonder if I even think that now. I think I remember this conversation. Wasn't it at the Wrigleyside? GOD that was a long time ago.

I was basically insisting that men aren't as good as women when it comes to improv and you were defending men. In the process, I ironically interupted you to point out that men are constantly interupting things on stage. Course I didn't realize the irony until 5 years later when I'm rereading my words in a book.

Jeff,

I saw you almost on stage with Seidman last night.

I was in the picture, but barely viewable in the back with glasses on. It's ok if no one recognizes me. Then my rep will come out unscathed.
