Where to Buy a Rug?

Where can I buy rugs in Manhattan? I'm looking for modern designs, not traditional Indian-type patterns.

If you have $, go to ABC carpet on Broadway just north of Union Sq. They have a place in the Bronx that has very good sales and is more of their outlet for things that didn't get sold in Manhattan.

again, if bucks are no object, i definitely recommend the terrance conran shop (59th street, all the way east, under the bridge) - they have all sorts of nifty modern rugs.

and there's always ikea. i just got a rug from them, and i love it!
