Where should birthday threads go?

#1
In the interest of doing my job better, I'm curious as to what mullaney and other IRC users think about birthday threads. What is the best forum for a birthday thread of an NYC improviser? Chicago/LA/Other Places improviser? Non-improviser?

Should birthday threads go in the regional forum appropiate to the person's region, or should all birthday threads be considered off-topic?

I think if we as a community come to an agreement on this, we'll see less double-posting of birthday threads, ensuring that those who are celebrating can view all of their well-wishing in one easy place!

I vote for Off-Topic, since people from different cities might like to wish each other a happy birthday.

You should have a poll on this discussion.

I vote for Off-Topic as well, unless there is good reason for them to go in another forum. I'm for their not really being policed.

I like the idea of a separate Birthday Message Forum.
For everyone: improvisers, non-imps, locals, non-locals, moderators, etc.

Just a thought.

Ugh.. let's just give Eric his own forum he can play netcop in. It can be called "Wrong Forum." Then everyone can be happy...

Tony...would you mind giving up your Eric = Wrong Forum bit.

Like most of your posts, it's not very funny....and is pissing me off.

Thank you.

Oh, and I vote Off-Topic for B-Day posts...
