Millions of miles away, on a giant Matzah Ball in outer space, lives a family of funny, furry aliens who just happen to be Jewish. Sadly, most Jewish traditions on Planet Matzah Ball have been lost. One day, a menorah traveling through space crash lands on Planet Matzah Ball. The furry Jewish aliens don't know what to make of it. What is a menorah for - and what do you put in its holes? Crayons? Toothbrushes?

Oogy, the alien family's 6 year-old, determined to solve the mystery of the menorah, looks through his super powered telescope and discovers four children having a Chanukah party in Cleveland, Ohio. As he watches them, an engaging and informative story unfolds.

A highly imaginative Chanukah tale whose puppets, animation, and music bring to life the wonderful traditions of the holiday, Chanukah on Planet Matzah Ball deserves a place in every home.
The Planet Matzah Ball series was created by some of the top talent from Sesame Street.

Schlmazel!

How about

"The Weinerville Chanukah Special"

The Weinerville Chanukah party has some very special guests—potato-heads from outer space who have been persecuted by an evil space villain—but Weinerville residents and aliens learn together that "a little oil goes a long way." (1995; 25 minutes)

Was Shari Lewis Jewish? Not that she would have to be because she had a Hanukah special, I'm just wondering.

Shari Lewis was indeed Jewish.

Did the residents of Weinerville end up grinding up the potato-heads, frying them in oil and eating them? Because that would be delicious. Oye!

Maybe they should have flown to planet Matzah Ball to seek refugee status and not into the waiting frying pans of a bunch of hungry jews.

Theoretically, wouldn't The Ten Commandments be a Hanukkah movie? The biggest baddest one ever? Big daddy Heston and all? Shit yeah!
I won't even suggest that pile of crap called The Prince of Eqypt. Didn't even have Moses' best pal. Jesus.
