Beginner Weekend Improv Intensive (November)
Instructor: Sarah Nowak
The PIT offers an introductory weekend improv intensive the first weekend of every month. This introductory intensive will focus on the fundamentals of improvisation in a safe and positive class environment. Students will learn about the concepts of “yes, and…” and true listening and reacting through warm-ups, exercises and scene work. By committing to their choices and scene partners, students will become more confident, trusting and graceful on stage. There will one performance at the end of the intensive for friends and family.

Advanced Weekend Improv Intensive (November)

The PIT offers an advanced weekend improv intensive the first weekend of every month. This advanced intensive will focus on scene work, characters/relationships, and longform improv techniques. Students will learn different skills for initiating and editing scenes, as well as longform skills such as patterns/connections, tag-outs, walk-ons, and beat structure. There will be one performance at the end of the intensive for friends and family.
