Philly Style Magazine's Best of 2006 nominations are out. You can write in Rare Bird Show for Best Theater Group or Best Comedy or both. www.phillystylemag.com/bos2006/ and you can win fabulous prizes.

Of course, you COULD vote for your own comedy or theater group, but I really think that we, as a community, should rally around Rare Bird Show for this. kidding, at the very least make sure that you and everyone you know vote for something improv in Philly. It'd be a big press grab.

As I took "best comedy" to being a venue rather than a group (looking at the rest of that section), I voted for the Balcony at the Troc.

Some may argue that Fergies is more consistent and free... but I think as far as non-improviser turnout, overall quality of all groups performing, etc... the Balcony had been more on than off. I'd love to hear what people think about this.

Just make sure you vote for something people!
