I've had DSL service for a while now and on a fluke I checked out the verizon website to see what kind of deals they're offering now. Lo and behold, they're offering a 1-year plan for $29.95 (a $5/mo savings) a "Free" wireless DSL modem/router ($12.99 S&H) plus they're doubling my download speed and tripling my upload speed from 750kb/128kb to 1.5Mb/386kb.
A total savings of $47 with better equipment and more bang for my buck.
Sigh... I can't believe I just posted a commercial, but I'm happy to offer you guys a way to save money.
Oh, and new customers get a free month of service.
