The latest installment from the vbulliten team (visually) looks like crap. Mullaney, please tell me you will wait till they change these icons, or that you will change them yourself in the future when you upgrade the boards.

I was expecting something better than that from them. What bothers me is the icons really take the proffessional look out of the vb software.

To me it just screams "HOWDY FOLKS! IVE GOT A BULLETIN BOARD!! YUKYUK!" instead of "Trust me, the matrix is in my bulletin board sofware. I am giving you a choice between the blue pill and the red pill..."

Now if I wanted to reply to the latest shitstorm post and tell them they are improv gods of war not to be fucked with, but then i see that new post reply button, I might go:

"ehh. its not really worth telling them that..."

But Shit-Storm still exists, or my name is mud. And they are "icons" in and of themselves, though I shouldn't say so, or they'll inflate just like these.

This all had occurred to me two days ago, but the mere sight of those silly icons made me go "eh."

are we adopting icons (vb icons, that is) that might inhibit truth? and, by association, comedy?

THAT is the so called "future" of our IRC board. I will not accept a cheesy looking IRC with stupid pictures (unless you make it a selectable theme/template, which i will SELECT NOT to use it). I drew better pictures in kindergarden.

Mullaney, for the love of all our children, when you upgrade the board, please change those icons to better ones! You dont like them. You say you do, but i know you dont. In fact we all know you dont really like them even one bit. RIGHT MULLANEY?!?!?!!!!!!!
