I have it on good authority that Tony carried a TV/VCR combo from Brooklyn to his workplace in Midtown today, just so he can bring it from there to the Parkside Lounge tonight, where he will use it to show the lucky audience two short videos by Shaun Clayton.

That's a lot of lugging!

Also, while en route to the subway in his neighborhood, TV in arms, Tony saw a popular New York City comic who has appeared on Letterman. That's a good omen, folks.

I wasn't lying about the eternal life and prodigious fertility, either.

There is but one man that strikes crippling fear into the heart of the evil Dr. Killjoy and his nefarious apprentice, Allergy the Cat.

That man's name is Tony Carnevale.

Everything he touches turns to gold (and with none of the pesky side effects of that guy in The Midas Touch).

Signed,

Fantastic Evening

Thanks to everyone who came out and made Variety Underground's first night so much fun! The performers, the audience, and especially Sean Taylor for being such a congenial cohost and actually buying four pizzas!

Our next show should be truly amazing. We will have a special performance by this young lady:

That's all I need to say, I think.

But I'll post the full lineup as the date approaches!

Love!

Tony.

Unfortunately I gave up cheese for Lent and didn't want to be tempted by your evil Pizza.

I'm glad everything went well though. Hopefully there will be Pizza after Palm Sunday.
