UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE THEATRE ANNOUNCES ULTIMATE COMEDY BASH

Celebrate the Best in Alternative Comedy with Amy Poehler, Thomas Lennon, More
The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) is taking over the Danish town of Solvang for the Ultimate Comedy Bash on October 9th & 10th! UCB will be bringing its best up from Los Angeles for three shows that will make you laugh until you puke.
The first show, Fresh Faces, will be at the Maverick Saloon on October 9th. Hosted by Paul F. Tompkins (Comedy Central Presents), Fresh Faces will feature a strong group of young UCB performers who are on the rise. Catch Matt Braunger (MADtv, Late Show with David Letterman), Kyle Kinane (Last Call with Carson Daly), Josh Fadem (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia), Harris Wittels (Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Sarah Silverman Program) and The Birthday Boys (Official Selection, Just For Laughs Festival) -- before they become household names.
On October 10th ASSSSCAT, the theater’s signature improv show, will be at the Solvang Festival Theater. ASSSSCAT features the original members of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Matt Besser (Walk Hard), Amy Poehler (Parks & Recreation, SNL), Ian Roberts (Reno 911!) and Matt Walsh (The Hangover), as well as LA’s top improvisers. With special guest monologist Thomas Lennon (17 Again).
And finally, it’s the Greatest Comedy Show Ever, also at the Solvang Festival Theater on October 10th. A variety show with music, sketch, stand up and awesomeness – it will feature Aziz Ansari (Parks & Recreation, Funny People), Paul F. Tompkins (VH1’s Best Week Ever), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911!), Paul Rust (Inglourious Basterds, I Love You,Beth Cooper), Nick Kroll (I Love You, Man), Casey Wilson (Bride Wars, SNL) and many more!
