Tune In Improv Workshop
Instructor: Rich Talarico
Your scenes are the life blood of your longform show. How the characters relate to each other is everything. This class will help the performers learn to "get out of their own way" and see just how simple scenework can be when the performers approach every moment with grounded honesty and playfulness. We'll reinforce concepts that are no doubt in place, but will also give tools to help the performers realize that every single thing that happens on stage is an obstacle or an opportunity. The choice is yours.

Prerequisite: Level 3 Improv or equivalent experience

RICH TALARICO is 16-year improv veteran. He studied with Del Close, Stephen Colbert, Charna Halpern and many others. Rich has worked at IO Chicago, IO West, The PIT, Second City Chicago, Saturday Night Live and MAD TV. Rich currently live in Los Angeles and performs at IO West with Bob Dassie and Craig Cackowski in the long running longform 3-man show "Dasariski".
