TORONTO IMPROV FESTIVAL: Now Accepting Submissions...

#1
Hello folks,

Toronto's leading alternative arts and news weekly, NOW Magazine has selected two shows from Jamboree 2002 among their list of Top 10 2002 Best Comedy Shows. Mark Sutton and Joe Bill's cult hit BASSPROV came in at No. 4 and Andrew Eninger's solo set landed at No. 10. Not bad for a festival in its first year. In 2003, we're looking to top that. If you would like to be a part of the next Jamboree, please keep reading.

The Toronto International Improv Festival is now accepting submissions for Jamboree 2003, which will be held Aug. 12-17 in downtown Toronto.

If you or your ensemble would like to perform at Jamboree 2003, please check out the application details at the Jamboree Web site. We are also accepting film and video submissions. This year's festival will also feature screenings of selected Jonathan Appel films.

We look forward to seeing your submissions.
