This Thursday, Variety Underground falls on the second day of Passover, which is a mere three days away from Easter.

Other comedy shows might shy away from the religious significance of Thursday, April 17, 2003.

Variety Underground embraces it.

Sean and Tony play the Easter bunny and a Hasidic Jew in some knee-slappingly funny religion-based sketches which promise to be hi-diddly-arious!

Also performing:

Gunshow (longform improv)
Jenkins (longform improv)
$3 pints (actual beers you can buy for cheap)

Variety Underground: where a Jew and a Christian really do walk into a bar.

*Thursday, Apr. 17th 7pm*
VARIETY UNDERGROUND
hosted by Sean Taylor and Tony Carnevale
Parkside Lounge, 317 E. Houston St - @Attorney St.
(F/V to "2nd Avenue," then walk east on Houston)
cost: 2 drinks ($3 pints) (VERY loosely enforced)

As a member of Gunshow I will be at this show and encourage you to do the same.

Tonight you will experience Gunshow's "Background Check" and witness an event peopled with people with hidden secrets and desires and stuff.

Be sure to get there early so you can leave in time to make it to the Seder.
