The Project - standings and box score thread

Time marches forward (sometimes even skips an hour forward) and so does the Project. However, it's sometimes important to take a look at our past. In our case, we got a fun glimpse of our past with Tuscadero, one of the original Project teams from 2005, performing in the first set of the evening (to replace the disbanded Machine Wash Tuxedo.) It was nice to see them together again and they did a fun show. But, apparently, the voters were there to vote for active Project teams, and so Strongers and Team Fernandez received the bulk of the points for the night. They both have plenty of shows in these last few Project nights, so they still have a chance to win it all.
Only three more shows left until the very end!

Two teams finished up their Project careers with inspired shows. But as those teams left the Project with well received improv sets, of course, veteran Team Fernandez delivered the show that won the night. And they're still going, with one last show to try to take it all! Only Hop Fries stands in their way. (Assuming Strongers doesn't make up a lot of ground with their final 2 shows.)
Next week we see the "All Captains Team", with perhaps a few old friends.
Only TWO more shows left until the very end!

It was another great evening of improv! My only question was why did Afternow not think it was curious that one if it's members has AT LEAST TWO LAKE HOUSES IN REAL LIFE?!?!
Anyway, I knew my being sexually brutalized on stage would pay off some day. I'm so glad my wife was there to see it. I'm also glad we were able to send a message about bringing your own canvas bag to the grocery store. It's a dangerous proposition!

The penultimate Project show was a good one! All three teams had great shows and the score reflects the even quality (all teams coming within a point of each other.) Hop Fries, narrowly winning the evening, is now out in first place. Will Team Fernandez, with one show left, beat them to be the Project champion of all time? We shall see.
It was also great to see some old friends play in the All Captains Team. Kevin Hines (Primal Bias), Kirk Damato (Ghosty Teens), and Alan Fessenden (Bright Eyes) all came back to play one more time.
Only ONE more show left to go!
