The Lovely "When is the IRC host gonna straighten things out?" Thread

I'm connected to the IRC at work via AOL.

At home, where I used IE 5.5 on a Verizon DSL line, I have been getting the ole Cannot find server and This page cannot be displayed windows when I go to the IRC. This has happened since, what????, Friday the 13th.

I've been able to spy on what's going on here by going to Anonymizer.com and visiting the IRC, but it doesn't let me see all of the pages.

I'm just creating this thread in hopes that when mullaney finds that his host has everything figured out, he'll post here and I'll check this thread and find that it's all figured out with me, too.

I don't understand why everyone's not experiencing this, but these gosh darn computers just don't understand anything nowadays.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting on this site at home as of last Friday, as well. I've just been too busy to worry about it.

But mullaney, I am getting a Cannot Find Server message at home with my RCN Cable modem.

Please continue to post the names of service providers that can't reach this site. I'm getting a bit of the run around. My hosting company insists that it is a problem with register.com, register.com insists its a problem with host company. I tend to believe my hosting company based on the feedback, I've gotten. I'm waiting to find out if it will help to change my registrar to dotster.com.
