Onion Promotions / Street Team Internship

The Onion, America's Finest News Source, is seeking a current college student or recent graduate interested in a promotions internship opportunity. The most competitive candidates will display a strong understanding of The Onion and AV Club’s unique brand and readership.

This unpaid internship will be in our advertising sales and/or promotions departments. We're looking for an energetic and personable candidates who will attend and assist at promotional events in the NYC area (i.e., bar promotions, summer festivals, concerts, etc.). In general, we’re looking for someone outgoing, hard-working, and familiar with the NYC and the surrounding area. Candidates should also have available during the evenings and occasionally on weekends

Casting for online marketing videos - paid work

Online marketing company is seeking improv-trained actors to add to their talent files for upcoming paid video work in internet ads, demo videos, voiceovers, and "talking heads" for websites.

Seeking a wide range of ages, ranges, and types.

Casting will done by appointment, during the week of March 21-25, with more sessions to follow every 1-2 months.

If scheduled, you'll be taped introducing yourself and reading some brief copy on-camera for clients to view on an internal talent website and private. (Your video audition will NOT be made public at any time.)

We are North South Productions, (www.NorthSouth.tv) and we have multiple shows currently in various stages of production for cable networks. We have 2 slots available (fulltime/part-time) in our 4-week Television Production Internship Program. We are currently producing a new primetime comedy/reality series for truTV and our internship puts you right in the center of it all. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the day-to-day of production of a TV comedy.

The ideal candidate has a positive, can-do, attitude and will demonstrate the ability to mesh well with a variety of people/departments and will not take themselves too seriously.

Through this internship you will gain knowledge in:
*Location and tech scouting
*Releases and logistics
*Sourcing props and wardrobe
*Post-production issues and workflow
*Managing equipment
*Episode structure
*Basically, all aspects of making a tv show in it's first season, including observation of the creative process (we are in the same office as the writers/talent)

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and make connections at a GREAT production company. Many of our interns go on to work for the company.

There is a $10 daily stipend and meals are provided when we are shooting on location.

Casting for NY Web Series

SSB productions is looking to cast both improvisers and actors for a New York comedic based web mini-series. Must be able to work on and off script and have a young, cool look.

Caucasian males, 21-30 yrs old with some to a considerable amount of musical talent

Heavyset Caucasian males, 21-30 yrs old with a larger than life personality

Caucasian females, 21-30 yrs old with a non-conventional beauty

Asian American females, 21-30 yrs old with an amazing voice or some other musical talent, obscure or not (open to other ethnicities if musical ability is there)

We’re also looking for Latin American males, 45-60 yrs old with a jolly and energetic spirit

There is no monetary compensation but all actors will receive food, copies, and credit. All actors must also be willing to sign non-disclosure agreements.

Experiment Media (http://www.experimentmedia.com/) needs to update their site and create great sites for their new documentaries, 'Todd vs. High School', 'Andy Roddick Beat Me With A Frying Pan', and 'Popular'.

Todd Gallagher is the participatory journalist who makes and stars in these documentaries, and we also need someone to create a new, banksy-esque portrait of him.

Additional Details
