SMART seeks an Executive Assistant to support the Northeast region of our CAB practice in our New York office.
The Executive Assistant will act independently, solves problems, and will be relied on to represent the Partner and the Firm with a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities include:
¨ Organization of time and scheduling work priorities
¨ Read mail, highlight action items
¨ Prepare expense reports
¨ Assemble presentation materials
¨ Draft/compose correspondence
¨ Prepare and process check requests
¨ Meeting coordination, develop agendas, projects, and events
¨ Use follow-up skills to track and confirm information
¨ Maintain calendar and schedule appointments
¨ Arrange corporate travel (air, car, hotel)
¨ Maintain confidentiality for all work related files
¨ Maintain mailing lists
¨ Communicate with external and internal contacts
¨ Billing/reporting
¨ Proactive in marketing and recruiting efforts for the firm
Requirements
Job Requirements:
¨ Minimum of 5 years experience supporting senior management
¨ Strong organizational and creative skills
¨ Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with our international business partners
¨ Ability to work with minimal direction, taking ownership and providing leadership for other administrative staff
¨ Sensitive to confidential information
¨ Open to new ideas, suggestions, and requests
¨ Adaptable to changes
¨ Demonstrate an understanding of the industry
¨ Willing to help others when crisis arises
¨ Approachable
¨ Understand importance of client service
