Hi IRC Friends,
I am writing to see if anyone knows of any open entry-level-ish positions, preferably in the field of TV production. I'll be a receptionist, an assistant, a PA, you name it...I just want a steady income.
So, if you want a peek at my super fun resume, and can maybe help me out, PM me or email me at briannajacobson@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance!
:)Brianna

Sween

Believe me, I'll know.
A-ha.

Well, it's been months since I started the full-time job search, and - besides a few short-term temp assignments in between auditions and classes, nothing has really materialized. Since I'll pretty much hand my resume to anyone who'll ask for it, I'm always interested in good entry-level work, and you can PM me about it.

I have at least a good year or so of experience and some pretty interesting office/admin/exec assistant skills, and am a very fast learner with a (top-tier) college education. Also, I'm a quick typer with transcription experience, and I currently handle writing and editing duties for several nonprofits. Naturally, I don't get paid for it.

Speaking of which, on the other end of the job spectrum, a theatre company I am involved with is having an upcoming benefit and we are always looking for a few good art watchers, volunteers, and waiters. So, if you're free Monday December 4 and want to help out, I'll see if I can make it happen for you!

Hi, everyone -

If any of you know of any full-time positions for a graphic designer, art director and copywriter with 10+ years experience, who's worked in magazines (mostly in marketing and promotions) and film advertising (posters, marketing, websites, etc.), I would love to hear about it.

I've been freelance for a year and a half and, though I've kept quite busy, I've decided I would once again like a steady paycheck and health insurance.

I thank you in advance for any leads.

My sister works for a major law firm, Mayer, Brown, PLatt & Rowe, and according to her there is a receptionist position open. She writes me, and I quote:

"also, there is a receptionist position open at my firm. the hours are 4pm - midnight. tell anyone you might know who wants to work those hours. very easy work. answer phones, make car reservations, page people. easy stuff."

She's worked there for a few years, so anybody who comes with her recommendation is pretty much set. PM me for more info, and I can forward your rez along to her.
