In order for you to get ranked, you must add a link from your site to the Top 50 site. You can add the link by adding the following html to a page on your site:

Be sure to change where it says in.php?id=1 to the id number that you were given when you registered.

Many site ranking systems, periodically reset to give newer members a chance to catch up in the ranking. Some sites keep all-time stats, but actually rank by daily or weekly hits. What do you think? I was thinking weekly, might be good.

I've added a white logo option in case that better fits into your color scheme. You can also use a text link to your voting.

Code for white logo:

Code for text only link:

Vote for me @ The Improvisation Top 50

Again, it both cases, change the X to the ID number assigned to your site.

One more thing, and then I'm done with the improvements for the day. I've added a voting feature where you can add a vote or "Hit In" to a member site. Please note, it does no good to hit the voting button over and over again, as there is an anti-cheat check.

Added an anti-cheat mechanism. Now, you can only vote for a site once a day. :)

I will likely zero the votes on Sunday after some more alterations to start everyone off on an equal footing. The long term plan would be for it to automatically start over in terms of ranking every week while keeping track of all-time information as well.

I've added FAQ to the site. If you have any questions look there.

Most of the biggies have now added their site to the list. :) Why haven't you added yours?

Asaf, when you going to add a link to it? I made a nice pretty white logo just for you.

Improv Review.com when you going to add a link? I made a nice pretty white logo just for you.

Not exactly a cheat really, more of a deception and I doubt it's the actual web master of improvchicago who is doing it. I would call it more of a prank, a prank more on the users of improvchicago than anyone else.

How they did it was someone posted a link on the improvchicago forum claiming it was a link to secrets about ImprovOlympic's harold team schedule. Instead it was a link to vote for improvchicago on the Top 50. Something like 60 people clicked on that link in the next two hours.

In any case, it's not worth getting in a dander about it. However, I am considering some way to thwart such pranks in the future. Not sure if it's worth it though.

We now have 48 members! Only two slots left in the Improv Top 50.*

Actually there is an unlimited number of sites that could sign up, but only the top 50 will show up.

We now have more than 50 members, wee!

Today the method of voting was altered to prevent people from stuffing the ballot box via misleading links to the site. Users must now confirm their intention to vote for a particular site.

Give it a try by clicking here: vote for the IRC
