The "Emily" Show - Bad Literary Contest

Thursday, May 1st at 8:15pm, The "Emily" Show is back at 2A (25 Ave A)
in New York City's historic East Village. Emily Dickinson died never
knowing she was an undiscovered literary talent. Don't let that fate
befall you… Come on down to The "Emily" Show -- a long-running
celebration of the worst writing New York City has to offer.

The show's talented hosts - Tim Racine (The Pit, Just For Laughs
Chicago), Emily Bouge (UCB), and Lizzie Martinez (The Improvised Play)
and comedian guests will read the worst of the worst from
audience-submitted literary works -- awful poems, unreadable fiction
and stilted plays...the top three worst writers win drink tickets,
prizes & more!

This week's guests include: Ben Kronberg (Comedy Central Half Hour),
Shaina Feinberg (This American Life), Eli Sairs (Bentzen Ball), and
Lukas Kaiser (Spike TV).

If you'd like to submit, send your 200 words of awful prose, plays,
and poems to SUBMITTOEMILY@GMAIL.COM. This week's theme is PANIC! Show us how badly you suck!
