The Mothman Prophecies (2002)
Directed by: Mark Pellington
Starring: Richard Gere, Debra Messing, Laura Linney
Rating: 2.25 (out of 5.0)

The Reason for Leaving (in 25 words):

"Things aren't quite as welcome here as they used to be. Nobody's fault, but recent rule changes figure in.

I'll continue somewhere else.

Location forthcoming."

The Thank-Yous (in 25 words):

Everybody that ever read my work. Especially everybody that ever checked out a movie based on my recommendation. My meager hit totals cheered me immensely.

The Denouement (in 25 words):

I've got a secret, but I'm not sure I want to tell. Maybe someday you'll learn who I am.

In the meantime...it was fun.
