The 2007 Miami Improv Festival (MIF 2007) is one of the world's top improv festivals celebrating all forms of improv and sketch comedy from across the globe, and is hosted by Miami's home for improv and sketch comedy, Just The Funny. MIF 2007 is celebrating 5 years with incredible shows, workshops, business seminars, and more!

Submissions Deadlines
Monday, October 9, 2006 for a Submission Fee of $30.00 US.
Monday, November 13, 2006 for a Submission Fee of $45.00 US.
MIF 2007 Includes:
-2 Performance Slots per Group* (with a 10% split of the door)
-Dinner for Performers prior to their performance(s)
-Tickets to MIF 2007 Performances
-Access to all MIF 2007 Business Seminars
-VIP Passes to all MIF 2007 Parties and Social Events**
*Local groups, solo acts, college, and select groups will receive 1 performance slot (with a 10% split of the door).
**MIF 2007 also includes pre and post festival parties, discounts on accommodations and excursions, and gifts from sponsors and MIF.

Compensation
Groups selected to perform at The 2007 Miami Improv Festival will receive a 10% split of the door for their performance(s), in addition to the opportunity to sell their merchandise during the festival.
Submission Checklist
To apply for The 2007 Miami Improv Festival, groups need to submit the following:
-MIF Group Submission Form (at http://www.miamiimprovfestival.com)
-A 20 minute unedited DVD or NTSC VHS tape of your group performing in front of an audience**
-Press release with picture(s) of your group explaining the type of show you perform**
-A cast and crew list with bios and headshots of performers in your group**
-Any press clippings or reviews**
-$30.00 US Submission Fee by October 9, 2006*
-$45.00 US Submission Fee by November 13, 2006*
*Submission fees are nonrefundable.
**Submission materials will not be returned.
