I'm not involved in this directly, but I think it's a great idea, and the IRC community seems to have a lot of people who would be interested in getting involved in it (I know they needed volunteer tech people last week, as well as groups to fill time slots):

This Friday, April 4, THAW will be hosting an evening of a unique artistic dialogue that will explore the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and how it is affected by the war in Iraq.
The evening will include plays, performances, readings, stand-up comedy and music. A panel discussion with Palestinian, Israeli and American artists will follow at the end of the night's performance program.
