Technical questions/Forum Not Accepting New Posts

Two Questions here -

1 - If buggy technical things occur when posting to the boards, is it appropriate to post them here, or to send messages directly to the moderator(s)? I don't want to create unnecessary threads and/or hassle the moderator(s) who are busy busy people.

2 - After creating a post (usually a journal entry, alas) and submitting, I will end up being "logged out" and re-logging in - Then a message will appear that says "Forum not accepting new posts." Then the message will be completely gone, and not appear again even if I hit the "Back" button. (This has happened a few times - inevitably if I have failed to "copy" my message to the clipboard first.) What gives??

Please accept my thanks, and someday I will bring you cupcakes!

The most common solution when people are having querky access issues like you describe is having corrupt cookies on their computer. The best thing to do is delete all cookies associated with this site and then log in again. Most of the time this will correct problems like this.

P.S. This is great place to put questions like this, because most likley others are having or will have the same problem as you.
