Love 'em all. You should also check out Windsor Terrace - funky '70s Brooklyn feel, slightly lower rents and bigger apts. We're on the border of South Slope and WT and we're so happy there. Truly great hood.

T - what's the going rate for a studio/one bedroom?

Holy crap! I am surrounded by improvisers! And how is it I never run into anyone? Probably this dang night job again...

Boerum Hill is awesome. I love that it's both old school and new arrivals. Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill is in one direction, Park Slope is in the other, Downtown is nearby, as is almost every single train line.

T - what's the going rate for a studio/one bedroom?

M - We were looking in the summer and I don't know how the economic downturn might have changed rents, but I saw 1 bedroom listings for $1500-1800 on the very small side. We mostly looked at 2brs and they ran 2200 and up. There's another broker right in the neighborhood that might have listings. I will stop by and get their # this weekend.
