If anyone in Chicago is interested, there will be a screening of a Superchunk tour documentary, "Quest for Sleep", Tues., Feb. 17th at 7pm at Schuba's. The documentary is also on the new Superchunk DVD, "Crowding Up Your Visual Field", which comes out the same day. The documentary is really great as is the whole DVD which includes a bunch of entertaining videos (including a hilarious one featuring David Cross and Janeane Garofalo), commentary, live performance footage, etc. The two songs recorded at Lounge Ax in Chicago, '93 would alone make the DVD worth buying but the whole thing is fantastic.
As a bonus, Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster will be there too. He's also playing drums for Marah who are playing a 9pm concert at Schuba's right after the documentary screening.
