Trying to think about all that noise while you are in the middle of improvising a scene is impossible and stifling to the creative process! Let all those notes about game and such go to the back of your mind. If you are taking a class and seeing shows those notes will start showing through in your play without you consciously trying to implement them mid scene. Reset, go out there and try to react realistically & honestly to whatever bizarre situation is thrown at you. Don't worry about patterns, game, characters, etc. just react. More often than not in those situations where you allow yourself to take a moment, a game will find you just as long as you remember to "yes &" your scene partner.
