As you can see by this helpful diagram from the good people at the Weather Channel, tonight is a horrible night to see music. But you don't have to worry about that! Because I'm not plugging something for tonight. No, no.

What I want to tell you about is a full two day's away. By which time the massive machine that is New York City's Department of Sanitation will have pulverized this storm and all it's scary precipitation. Which you the good people of New York will have paid a million dollars an inch to remove (as your ol' bud Mikey Bloomberg likes to remind us).

In two day's time, we can all laugh about this. We can tell amusing "where were you in the blizzard?" vignettes. We can top each other with "I got so hungry I ate . . ." stories.

But most of all you can see me, Nate Shelkey, live, in concert. All original songs, all hour long. And as a special treat, I'm going to have some guests, including this wonderful singer/songwriter Shae Fiol. Her voice is amazing. There's no cover either, so don't sweat it. There should be a new song or two as well. You have no excuse. But to go. That's it.
