Sounds like I am.

I've never done it before. My car isn't very big if people are bringing gear and stuff but i'll drive. Plus I got waterproof seat covers!

Princeton Ski Shop offers a pretty good deal to Hunter Mtn. if you're willing to get up early in the morning. They drive, you sleep. They provide bagels and coffee, you eat and/or drink. And from what I remember (it's been a couple years), it's actually cheaper than buying a lift ticket at the mountain. You'll have to call the store for details, 212.228.4400.

I have no house in VT this year so I'll be on that bus.

the East Coast was not designed to be a place for great snowboarding, but if you must, Mtn. Creek is good. Depends on what you want out of it though. If you've never been much, just go to a slope with snow. If you want ice and maple syrup go to Vermont. Best parks on the East Coast are in Mtn. Creek, and Waterville, NH.

I don't snowboard, but I ski, and I am DYING to go this Winter. Kristina (and whoever else wants to join, of course), let's do it. I've always wanted to do Killington, but I'm not picky about my mountains. I just want a decent cup of hot chocolate when I'm done.

We should totally put together an IRC snowboard/ski excursion. I've never done it AND I'm hilarious. Imagine the potential. I got vacay days to burn so I could totally do a monday or tuesday.

Is the Monday or Tuesday slot directly after Xmas weekend crappy for folks? Puente's got the SUV, I got the Echo. Let's make this happen before she goes to LA.

Whose in?

I am terrible at snowboarding and gave up for the past few years, but I would be totally down for this. Mountain Creek is good, and close. Greek Peak is good for beginners and cheap (plus the motels around there are about 30 bucks for doubles!), so good for multi-day excursions.
