Improvised Singing with I Eat Pandas, NY
A 3-hour intensive session where participants will be able to learn the basics of improvised singing from all three members of I EAT PANDAS, as well as improve on already possessed musical improv skills (if applicable).
Topics to be covered include: recognizing and initiating verse/chorus and tagline songs, infusing songs with character and emotion, and ending songs with style! Although prior singing experience is helpful, it is not required- but participants must be comfortable singing in front of others. Prior (non-singing) improvisational experience, however, is a must, as this workshop will use those skills to enhance the improv singer that lies hidden in all of us!

Eliza taught me Everything I Know about musical improv, and Glennis and Travis are amazing musical improvisers and people.
This is a rare opportunity, take it before it slips through your fingers and you spend a lifetime grappling with the demons of regret!

I wish I wasn't at a total loss for words today, because I might be a bit more helpful, but I would like to say that this workshop was by far the most fun I've had doing Improv in a while. It allowed me to just go up there and have fun doing something I love. Eliza, Glennis, and Travis were so supportive about the moves people were making, I wasn't afraid to just do whatever, even if it pushed me past my threshold of being comfortable. Their teaching style made it very easy to pick things up quickly, so everyone had more time to play with what we were learning. This workshop was very freeing, and I have to admit I walked away singing the last song everyone sang in the workshop, ready to make up musicals in my hotel room.

I would recommend this workshop to anyone and everyone.

Best class ever.

People should be at this class on a regular and continual basis.
