The Night of 1000 Games. A cup is filled with theatre and improv games. The games are drawn, explained, and performed by anyone who wants to play. Past games have included Pet Peeves, Game-O-Matic, Genre Replay, and Blind Date. This complements the Monday Night Jam to provide a full improv workout. $5.00 to play or to watch.

The SFIC Longform Lab
This cheap, monthly workshop focuses on techniques of longform improvisation. Learn about openings, edits, and beats, and get individual notes on your play. Open to improvisers and actors of all skill levels. This month’s lab is run by SFIC co-founder and director Sam Shaw. $10.00

The SFIC kicks off its Improv at the Dark Room run this Sunday August 29th with Black & Tan (soulprov with Shaun Landry and Ana Elizondo) and the Sam Shaw Show (with Sam Shaw, Chris Libby, and Bryce “Zippy” Byerley). The SFIC is thrilled to get weekly time at the Mission’s hottest new space.
