The Second City is proud to announce the next line-up of performers for its third “Second City Unhinged” series which runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8:30pm in The Second City e.t.c. (1608 North Wells in Piper’s Alley). The next cycle for “Second City Unhinged” will begin on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, and run until Wednesday, June 25, 2003. Tickets are only $5 and FREE for Second City Training Center students!
TUESDAYS
“Tuesday Night Special” – the completely improvised revue continues, featuring Ryan Archibald, Dan Bakkedahl, Bumper Carroll, Jennifer Estlin, Paul Grondy, Peter Grosz, Rebecca Sohn, Tracy Thorpe, and Jean Villepique. Directed by Alex Fendrich with Musical Direction by TJ Shanoff.
“The Dirty Half Dozen” – an exciting improvised showcase of up and coming Second City talent as well as seasoned Second City veterans, featuring current Second City Training Center students Damien Arnold, Hilary Bauman, Aimee McKay, and Piero Procacini. Directed by John Lutz.
“Trainwreck” – Second City resident stage alums Ed Furman and Dan Bakkedahl extend their run in this amazing show that uses a single audience suggestion to create a fully improvised play.
WEDNESDAYS
“Something Suite” – written and performed by Dina Facklis, “Something Suite” explores crisis and humankind’s hilarious, unexpected reactions to high-pressure, high-stake situations. Directed by Paul Grondy.
“Godshow” – extended due to popular demand, Second City Mainstage alum Tim O’Malley offers a funny and frank autobiographical play that covers his personal journey through alcoholism, drug addiction, recovery and redemption. The show also stars Michael Gellman, Jim Carrane, Otis Fine and Karen Holbert. Directed by Norm Holly.
