What is our conservatory? Check it out:
The Conservatory Program is an advanced study of the art of improvisation as it applies to the development of a Second City style revue. You must audition to enter this program. We look for applicants who possess a fair amount (1 or more years) of background and strength in both acting and improvisation.
While there is no guarantee that completion of this program will result in a position in one of our performing companies, the program gives a comprehensive overview of how improvisation is used as an acting technique and a means of developing scripted material at The Second City.
