[Seattle] SFIT 2005 is now accepting submissions

#1
The next Seattle Festival of Improvisational Theater is next February. We're now accepting submissions for workshops and performances.

The first two SFITs were a lot of fun. There were performers from Chicago, New York, and all over, doing some of the most wonderful and innovative long-form improvisation.

We got students from Washington State, Oregon, California, and British Columbia, all of them hungry for quality instruction in long-form improvisational theater. The workshops covered a range of topics: musical improv, solo improv, finding characters, physical work, power improv, and creating new long forms.

SFIT 2005 is Wednesday, February 16th, through Sunday, February 20th. The workshops are on Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th. Last year, they were two to three hours long, limited to 15 students.

If you're interested in proposing a workshop or submitting a show for SFIT 2005, go to

The deadline for workshop and show proposals is November 15th. We plan to let people know by December 15th.

If you have any questions, send me an e-mail.

See you at the Fest!
