Bald Faced Lie (Seattle, WA)

Bald Faced Lie began in 1996 as a late-night sketch comedy alternative to the predominant improv comedy scene in Seattle. Since then BFL has expanded its scope into an internationally recognized comedic theatre company. While BFL continues to produce original, ensemble-generated sketch comedy, they have also branched out into other comic stage productions including plays and experimental cabarets and have toured the U.S and Canada several times performing at comedy and theatre festivals.

Elephant Larry (New York, NY)

Elephant Larry has been performing sketch comedy in New York City for the last two years. Their brand of humor focuses on fast-paced, high-concept writing, with refreshingly energetic performances. They most recently performed to a sold-out, enthusiastic audience at The Best of the Best SketchFest in Portland.
They were recently named one of Back Stage's Comedy Best Bets 2004, and won the Audience and Jury Awards at the Bass Red Triangle Competition.

Flaming Box of Stuff (Seattle, WA)

Flaming Box of Stuff was formed in 2002 by a collection of veteran Seattle writers and performers. FBOS emerged in 2004 from a peyote-induced haze with their latest show, embarking for the American Frontier. The Stranger said "their new show uses a variety of western motifs to spin out a collection of rapid-fire, absurdist sketches." The UW Daily said they are "outrageously funny, devoid of predictability and a refreshing take on sketch comedy."

FURIOSO! (Seattle, WA)

FURIOSO! is Tristan Devin and Matt Hopkins. They met in 2003 at an improv workshop here in Seattle. Tristan was a student at the University of Washington. Matt had recently graduated with a degree in theater from Western Washington University where he had been a member of the Dead Parrots Society improv troupe. Individually, they were mere "jerks." Together they had comic pizzaz. FURIOSO! was born. Tristan is now an ensemble member at Unexpected Productions, home of TheaterSports. Matt performs often in local theater.

Sam Riegel & Rob Blatt are a television, film and live comedy writing team that recently relocated to Los Angeles from New York. Their successful two-man sketch comedy team (formerly The Infinite Monkeys) has appeared at New York's famed Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Gotham Comedy Club, as well as the Chicago Sketch Festival, Chicago Improv Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and Ha! Comedy Festival. Sam can be heard as the voice of Donatello on the New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Rob is a freelance Web master who occasionally performs stand up comedy in nursing homes.

The Royal We has performed sketch comedy with political sting since 2002. The troupe (Lauren Antler, Becca Greene, Matthew Johnson, Jerry Miller and Will Nunziata) creates original sketch comedy confronting important issues like the War on Terror, corporate malfeasances and Celine Dion. The Royal We hails from New York City, and in 2004 has appeared at the Chicago Improv Festival's Sketch Stage, the Bass Red Triangle Comedy Tour, and the New York Sketch Comedy Festival.
