Seattle Festival of Improv Theater 2011

Submit your improv show or group to the 2011 Seattle Festival of Improv Theater!

The 9th annual Seattle Festival of Improv Theater will be Feb. 17-20, 2011. As in years past, SFIT will be happening in two Seattle venues: The Market Theater and Wing-It Productions.

Please visit www.seattleimprov.com to submit your show or group!

There is a $30 application fee.

SFIT performance slots are 25 minutes long. Out-of-town groups are given priority to have two performances at this year’s festival – usually one slot at each venue.

The deadline to submit shows is November 1, 2010.

Additionally, you will be able to submit improv workshops to be taught at SFIT very soon. Keep your eye on the website if you have a workshop you would like to submit!

Also, check out the website for photos of last year’s shows, and links to get on the SFIT mailing list! -- http://www.seattleimprov.com

SFIT pays all performers for their talent - so came be a part of one of the best festivals in the country!

Thank you to everyone who applied. We wish we could have everyone come out and play, but we are sorely limited by resources (as we dedicate pay to each performer), and space (we limit our festival to two 150-200 seat venues to create the largest audiences possible to help ensure a spectacular performance experience.)

Thanks again everyone. We are excited and honored to have such a palce in the national community of improv.
Sincerely,

Andrew McMasters
