Sean Taylor is running the NYC marathon!!

#23
I saw Sean run by 4th Avenue and 12th St. in Brooklyn shortly after 11AM. So if he kept up his "target" pace he should have finished around 2. I have a digital pic that I'll send to Sean and hopefully he can put it on this thread. I'm not so good at things of this nature.

I see Sean right now! With his big brother. They are in the audience of Assscat. They both do not look tired. What big strong men they are!

And Sean has a great story of how he hurt his knee.

Sean: How did you hurt your knee???

Sean -
Ryan and I were watching in Greenpoint from about 11:20am onwards. We didn't see you!! Perhaps you were just too fast for us!
I did shout GO SEAN a bunch of times when a huge pack ran by so maybe you heard it?
Anyway - way to go!!!!

Here is me and my brother (I'm partially obscured because I was waving)...

Thanks for taking the photo!

As for the story of hurting my knee...

Once the race was over, I was pulling my pants on over my shoes and strained something in (or around) my knee. Now I'm walking with a limp but it wasn't from the 26.2 miles, it's from putting on pants.

Here's another photo of my brother and I after the race but before I hurt my knee.

Thank you Maggie, Justin, Mindy, Petra, Petra's friend, Ryan, Mark, Jeff, Mark, Jenni, Alison, Michael, and Curtis for your support!

The "official' photos were just posted on the marathon site. With so many people taking photos on the Verrazano bridge, I was unaware which photographers were the official ones and which were not. I did, however, realize that I no longer needed my gloves...so I chucked one at some guy with a camera. Apparently he was one of the official ones...

Wow Sean I am very impressed. I hope that this experience has taught you a few valuable life lessons, and that next year you will run this marathon without pants.

Love,
Erin
