Sal Gentile has FUN coaching and wants YOU to have fun too!

My name is Sal Gentile and, as stated rather explicitly in the title of this thread, I want to coach your team or practice group because I love improv and I think coaching is fun! I've studied at the UCB since 2009, and I'm currently on the Lloyd team City Mouse. I've taken a record 1,000 Advanced Study Performance classes, including The Evente, The Improvised Documentary, The Macroscene, Immediately Great! and The Harold (Pinter).

I've studied under Will Hines, Kevin Hines, Achilles Stamatelaky, Porter Mason, Brandon Gardner, Michael Delaney, Brandon Scott Jones, John Murray, Eddie Dunn and many more. I will steal things directly from those amazing people and pass them on to you at no additional charge!

I'm happy to work on any of the improv fundamentals with you. Agreement? You got it! Justifying? Let's do it! Finding and playing game by following the fun of the scene? I'm all about it! Making strong choices and committing to them? You know it! Playing to the top of our intelligence? Yes, sir, indeed!

I've got weeknight, weekend and some weekday availability. Shoot me an email at salgentile [at] gmail [dot] com and let's make this happen!

As a bonus, I will talk about comics and/or baseball with you. Specifically, I will list for you the ten best Batman comics and then we can have an impassioned debate about that if you like.

Sal is a talent and very good improviser. Hire him and do scenes in front of him about Jim Gordon running against Obama on a platform of a tough stance on crime!

In approaching the scene Matt describes, I would suggest we focus on one fundamental question: Who would Batman endorse? The answer is more nuanced than you might think, and thinking about that answer should be what's driving all of our choices and game moves throughout the scene.

Guys I've got so much availability I'm almost TOO available. Not emotionally, though. Emotionally I am impossible to connect with!

I'm free Sunday afternoons, Mondays all day, Tuesdays all day, alternate Wednesdays all day and Thursdays after 6 pm! That's as much as 80 hours of improv! If your team typically practices for 80 hours a week, you could book me for that entire time!

Hey guys, still got tons of cool availability. If you're cool and you want to be coached by me, I'm free on Mondays during the day, Tuesdays all day, Wednesdays during the day (and alternate evenings) and Thursday evenings. Those are some cool days right there!
