Hey,
My roommate is looking to move out around the beginning of January, and she's subletting her room for $845, until the lease is up at the beginning of March. At that time, if things work out, you could sign onto the lease for a year (although the rent would go up).
The room is around 8x10, maybe a little bigger? I have to measure it. It faces E.6th Street (yes, the Indian restaurant block). The whole apartment is small, but in really good condition because it was renovated a few years go.
You'd be living with me, a 25-year-old gal, and my roommate, who's 24, until she moves out in March to live with her boyfriend. (I only gave ages because apparently that's the most important determinant of a person's personality). We live on the 4th floor, and it's an easy walk-up. We're the only apartment on the floor.
