Given the shitty financial times we're in, maybe an informal rideshare thread might be useful? For the NYC forum area; people going on holiday breaks or festivals, etc.
Just to get it started:
Heading to South NJ tomorrow evening, leaving the west harlem area around 4pm via zipcar. Will be passing through midtown on way out of Lincoln. Anybody needs a ride from NY and point south, let me know. Throw me a few bucks and listen to the whatever terrifying music I play are the only requirements. Prefer someone I know (or know via 1-2 degrees of seperation).
Returning xmas day (if you need a ride back).
