Register of Philadelphia Improv Teams

#1
I'm working on a secret project that I plan to reveal soon. As part of it I'm trying to put together a list of every active Philadelphia area improv group along with a photograph for each. Maybe a list of their members too.

Help me out! I'll list every group I can think of off the top of my head here and leave it to you guys to fill in the blanks. If you're group has a photo you like you can send it to me or otherwise arrange to have me take one sometime in the near future. Here we go:

Rookie Card
Rare Bird Show
Cubed
the Real Housewives of Philadelphia
King Friday
Leo Callahan
Fletcher
Activity Book
Mr. Lizard
Everything Must Go
M@&
Angry People Building Things

Thank you for your help in advance.

I was going to edit that post, but I decided to make another one entirely to give mention to my very own classy ladies. How could I forget?

Women With Class are, of course, more of a Bucks County based act but that falls under the "Philly area" umbrella, and they have performed in Philly several times (including the 17th of this month at the Ethical Society with APBT and Velvet Helmet. Oh!), and they do perform improv, so I would say that qualifies them for this list.

The roster is ever changing, but there is a solid core of mainstays.

Ladies & Gentlemen...

If you're also including shortform, don't forget the two most active groups in town - ComedySportz and the N Crowd

and from what I've seen the last couple weeks, I'm hoping we see some of the new Troika groups live on past the May finale.

The new house team we're casting next week would also be a good thing to include depending on whether or not you've got a deadline for this project.

go to www.philly.improvteams.com there are some teams listed there, also teams that haven't can go ahead and do it. It's an awesome source of improv performers, teams and future shows. NY based teams and improvisers use it frecuently to plan, promote and get to know shows, teams and improvisers.
