Hi. I'm a young comedian who has seen little of New York City's sketch comedy. Groups like Mr. A$$ and the Naked Babies were before my time. So I started this thread so you older wiser comedians could tell of sketch groups past and present. Those that you were in, and those of others...those of the UCBT, those of the PIT, those who made their name at Liquid Courage...any!
Please, tell me who was in such legendary groups, where they are now, and perhaps your favorite moments of them!
Answer such questions as
"Respecto Montalban, improv group, sketch group, or both?"
"Police Chief Rumble...who the HECK were they, and what exactly was the 'Buttergun' sketch?!"
AND
"Is there a reason why so many UCBT folks are on Conan and NBC in general?!"
Such as the Native Americans did, this is your chance to pass on history! Such as the Robotic Native Americans did, you shall do it virtually!
