My boss wants me to find a band for a party he's throwing. I don't know where to find a band for a bunch of wall street dudes! Any suggestions? Do you know a band? Or where to find one?

Funk FIlharmonic is a excellent band that does corporate gigs. The singer used to sing for Tower of Power, and I guess other guys in the band played with TOP also.

I've seen Funfilharmonik----I second Lefty's nomination. They would definitely have the potential to make wall street suits feel cool... What? No Stickerbook on the ballet?

The stumble bum brass band is really good. Another good L platform performer is one-man band Phillip Roebuck (http://www.philliproebuck.com/). Also, my roommates are in the pop group Teen Fun and the noise band Werewolves, both of which put on a good show.
