You might also try Iyengar Yoga 150 W 22nd St 11FL. They are an excellent style for those just beginning and also those in a rut and needing to move to a new level. I call it a "teacher's Yoga" because it is highly structured to create a mindfulness with each pose and class. They use lots of props, too, which means that everyone can do the same pose correctly - to the best of their ability. Each class is also different - focusing on a new area. Fri's are usually restorative and they have "lunch classes" on Mon, Tues & Thurs. Hope this helps.($15 p/h I think)
