Artistic New Directions is pleased to sponsor 2 upcoming workshops taught by Rachel Hamilton:
Master Improv Intensive - Rachel Hamilton
Rachel Hamilton's Master class is for experienced Improvisers who want to explore their work more deeply. Leaving behind the tried and true techniques that have become our standard choices on stage, we will take the risk to play with even more truth, more commitment and more connection to our partner and to the present moment. We will endeavor to stretch and expand the individual improvisers as well as the ensemble in a space where failure is off the table.
Limit 16 students.
Saturday & Sunday, February 26 & 27 - 10am-5pm - $150
This workshop is open to those who have completed AND’s Master Improv Retreat, UCB/Magnet/PIT Level 3, or who have equivalent experience.
To apply - Contact andreserve@aol.com
Master Improv Intensive - Extreme Listening - Rachel Hamilton
In this workshop we will enrich our improvised scene work by learning to listen more deeply to our partners and to ourselves. We will practice catching the tiny, information-rich moments that too often go unexplored in our work and unpacking the scenic gold within them. By honing our skills at taking in information with all of our senses, or "full body listening," we will enrich and expand the relationships we build in our Improv and the worlds those relationships inhabit.
Limit 16 students.
Saturday & Sunday, March 5 & 6 - 10am-5pm - $150
This workshop is open to those who have completed AND’s Master Improv Retreat, UCB/Magnet/PIT Level 3, or who have equivalent experience.
