Hi IRC-NYC,

Are any of you familiar with how actors go about finding auditions in London? And maybe not just actors, but improvisers.

I know of the Crunchy Frog Collective message board, but I'm wondering what might be some other ways to reach improvisers for an upcoming improv audition in London.

Bonus Points if you have a recommendation for an audition site, like a rehearsal studio in London.

Thanks in advance!
Ben

You can submit a news story/event to the Crunchy Frog Collective and they might put it up if they know you are for real. But they'll expect more detail than just 'audition'.

Hey Ben, Another person to ask this question is Dr. Dan Goldstein. You also might what to personally tell Dan & Sam about this, especially considering that they are both improvisers, they might want to audition themselves.

Hi Ben, look at www.the-spontaneity-shop.com. Though they are somewhere between long form and Keith Johnstone short form, Tom and Deb's troupe are at the heart of the London Improv scene and they had a show picked up by the Little Britain guys. Tell them Sarah from New York sent you.
If they reply, "Who??" just remember that that is british for "oh yeah, she is fantastic." Good luck .
