I don't know if I'll be there, but maybe. If anyone is interested in doing a sketch re-enactment, I'd consider participating; possibly being the police officer in the Crunchy Frog sketch who vomits in his hat.

Oooo! I'd to the Cheese Shop Sketch too. Or the Spanish Inquisition... Or How Not To Be Seen if we could find some pyrotechnics...

So... WHYY is doing this big Monty Python thing for this special that's coming out: http://www.whyy.org/community/python.html.

Just thought I'd mention it. It'd be cool if people enter this sketch re-enactment competition

The WHYY website doesn't say. Will the re-enactments be filmed for replay on tv? Do you know if they'll be filmed at all so that those of us that cannot go can watch someday??

Spamalot Rules!

I saw Spamalot a few months ago on Broadway. Niles from Fraiser and that sweet transvestite from Rocky Horror was in it. John Cleese was the (pre-recorded) voice of God. It was totally great! The tickets only cost me $300 each.

So here's the dish... I went to the WHYY space, and they had a party which included LOTS of Spam as hor doeurves, and they had a costume contest, of which only one person REALLY appeared to costume up (as a Gumby, beautiful!) Then they showed clips from Eric Idle's Personal Best, which in fact does include new footage, you are correct, House Arrest Matt. After that, 5 people did sketches which were all very well done... Burying The Cat / Argument Clinic / Lifeboat (Cannabalism) / Speaking in Anagrams / Interview with Sir Edward Ross. I won a Fresh Aire CD, and then I put the CD into my car and listened to it, BECAUSE I have a CD player in my car to listen to CD's on. And I also possess the ability to listen to things.
