Pre-Game on New Year's

#1
This originally started off as a small, intimate gathering. It now seems to be headed in the direction of "outlet for people who don't believe 8 hours of consecutive drinking is enough, so let's squeeze 3 or 4 more in."

So I'm opening up my apartment in Woodside/Astoria around 6-7pm. I am making a ton of food, and please bring any friends or vices you plan on engaging in.

We WILL be migrating between 10 and 11 to the theater to catch the ball drop. So please do not plan on coming here and staying all evening. Not happening.

4913 31st Ave. (between 49 & 50th st.)
R, F, G train, 48th st. stop

(For those of you who actually enjoy spending time with Appel, my apartment is directly above his.)

PM/email/IM/call if you can so I have a head count on the food. Otherwise, please feel free to just show up.

HAPPY NEW YEAR :D

Dudes and dudettes, Ali handed out chocolate-frosted cupcakes at McManus tonight, to entice us drunken improvisers to join her in the debauchery that will be her pre-game whatever-you-call-it. Some good eatin'.

Oh, you don't believe me? Ben Schwartz was still licking the frosting from the paper cupcake holders 2 hours later, that's how good they were, ladies and gentlemen. Ben Schwartz is the becon of good tasting food and if he likes Ali's cupcakes then her cooking must be super-awesome.

Thanks, Ali.

Um, I moved out of that apartment nearly two months ago. But I'm pretty sure I'll be stopping by tonight. I hope you're making perogies.
